Clarinda Classics 4-H Club News

The Champion Horse Judging team from the Brokaw FFA Chapter in Clarinda consisted of Emma Sunderman, Talynn Hughes, Bailie Walters and JJ Sunderman.
The Clarinda Classics 4-H club held their annual "Family Night" at Wibholm Hall on October 19, 2008.
Twenty-four Classics along with their family members were present. This year's theme for "Family Night" was the Olympics.
Families dressed up by wearing their favorite sports team. Families also brought food for everyone to share at the potluck.
Following the potluck, senior member Nicole Lantz gave a power point presentation about the Citizenship Washington Focus trip she took this past summer. Next, our new club officers for 2008-2009 were installed.
Our first year members were recognized as well, and they each received a pin to go on their 4-H patch. Our new members were welcomed and each received a 4-H box.
All members were also asked to fill out enrollment cards and a survey from the Page County Extension office.
Used project material from the older members was handed out to the junior members.
Our next meeting will be held on November 9th.
